First photos up

Ok, maybe two posts out of me is enough for the first day. I’ll end with this: I just got the photos we took today up and they are linked from the “The Location” link in the sidebar or linked directly here.

We first visited the vineyard in March during a little storm, so we didn’t take any pictures then — heck, we didn’t ever tour the grounds. But the place struck us immediately (it was the first one we looked at, followed by about 10 more that weekend) and it felt right the very instant we saw it. I’ll save the rest of the story for when I update “The Location”, but it was exciting today to walk around, take pictures, and set a date. Holy crap.

Plus, it finally gets me really, truly blogging. w00t!

    From my blog:

Team Justin/Michelle, congrats on getting so much done so quickly. It doesn’t surprise me, though. I still getting to know both of you, but you strike me as quite a couple. In fact, you seem like a team. With all that behind you, there’s nothing left to fight about. Now, for the drive back to Virginia….

P.S. Can’t seem to get trackbacks working on your blog. Don’t know what the deal is.

I had some weird approval settings setup. It’s tweaked now and you should be able to trackback. Thanks for the link!

Congratulations — on finding a great location, setting the date, and saving your first “Holy crap” until your second wedding blog post.

Wow! It looks beautiful! It’s incredibly picturesque. I love it!!! Oh, and I love the parallel between the aging of fine wine and building a lasting relationship! It’s all very fitting!
