The main thing we’re hoping to accomplish this weekend is to nail down a photographer. We’ve been emailing a bunch of them and trying to find a half-dozen or so that fit the “we like their work” and “they fit the budget” categories and have a few good leads. A couple of other requirements for us are:
* photojournalistic style
* digital availability of full-quality prints
* light on the physical album side of things
We don’t want a lot of prints ourselves, just some big ones for the parents and maybe one to hang on the wall. We’ll have fun with the rest doing digital stuff with them.
Hopefully also this weekend we’ll also make some headway on DJs and florists.
