Well now that it is 2006 and this is the year we are getting married, Justin and I are starting to get moving on the planning and details. So far we have a location, caterer, photographer and officiant. To keep it going, we have set some monthly goals to accomplish so that everything will not pile up in the end. January’s goal: create and order the save the date cards, work on the registry and Justin is going to make an online RSVP program. So that is where we stand right now. We are still working on a DJ solution. During our visit to CT for New Years we met with 2 different DJs but they were not quite it. My mother sent me some recommendations from family and we are meeting with another DJ in February, I am keeping my fingers crossed on that one.

I am not sure if you have used this as a resource yet but I had good luck posting on the chat boards of http://www.theknot.com. They actally have them separated by state and area so you can narrow it down and ask for recommendations on anything and get local responses. I got a lot of really good information this way, not only on who to use but who NOT to. good luck!
