Goal Update

January Goals:
Create and order Save the Date cards (DONE)
Online RSVP program (DONE)
Registry (Partially Met)

February Goals:
Mail save the date cards
Ring shop/purchase
Mail in passport application
Bridesmaid dress shopping
Invitation design
Begin honeymoon searching
Contract with a DJ
Begin choosing ceremony selections/readings

So as you can see things are moving along. We are going to be making one weekend trip to CT in Feb to get some things done up there. I am a little nervous about getting all of Februarys tasks done, perhaps ring shopping will be pushed off till march. Any suggestions about invitations and ring searching are welcome.

    My suggestion is to make your own invitations. It wasn’t that hard and you can even get kits at craft or paper stores. It was a lot of work but a lot cheaper.

    Go to Hawaii. Seth and I are going back there this year to celebrate our 5th anniversary. That was how amazing it was.

    Michelle, I should identify that I am Justin’s friend and he attended my wedding. Per the ring, Seth’s father is a jeweler. I can hook you up if you want. The wesbite is preciousaccents.com and they actually have an engine where you can create a ring. However, there are other options, too. I can probably get you a better price than on the website.

    So we started some early on searching regarding invitations… and we may be doing it on our own. Who knew that invitations could be so expensive!!! I have found some sites that provide discount invites, so now I need to actually figure out how much doing it on our own would cost us.

    Rachel: I have heard about you, and look forward to meeting you at our wedding. Thanks for the ring suggestions… Justin and I are going to be researching rings this March. And the honeymoon still has us stumped… there are just too many places that we want to go to. Where did you go/stay while you were in Hawaii?
