Our Vineyard Wedding

We have been pretty good friends since 1999, when we met during the summer at Nicole’s 21st birthday party/camping trip in the wilds of New Hampshire. (Nicole, one of Michelle’s bridesmaids, was a member of the signing group I was in, as were all of my groomsmen.) Since meeting back then, we had taken several group trips to Canada and other places around the Northeast while both attending school in Troy, NY (Michelle at Russell Sage College, me at RPI). During early February 2002 we attended a Sage formal together as friends and then I almost asked her out for Valentine’s Day, but got a bad cold and chickened out. Several months later in May 2002 we began dating and the rest, as they say, is history. A big thanks is owed to Nicole for inadvertently starting it all, and to Michelle’s grad school roommates Sarah, Ashley, Shanan, and Tara for very purposefully helping things along.
